Justin Masterson will be pitching for the Red Sox, and Aaron Harang will be pitching for the Reds.

Celtics Game 4 Come From Behind Win!
Well the Celts were down 24 points and miraculously won 97-91. At the start of the third quarter they were playing defense and were scoring like crazy. The Fourth quarter was the same it took them a couple tries to take the lead, then when they took the lead they never looked back.

Celtics Game 4 preview
Well tonight is Game 4 of the NBA Finals and the Celtics are looking to take a 3-1 lead. Last game the Celtics just did not play as a team, and their defense was pretty bad. As for the Lakers their defense is pretty inconsistent and the last game they played a great defense against the Celtics, you can't deny that. Hopefully tonight their defense will be bad tonight, and the Celtics come to dominate.

Red Sox 5-11
Well the Sox won last night 6-3. Colon pitched really well. He gained career win number 150.He went six innings, limiting the Orioles to five hits and a run, walking one and striking out seven. He threw 93 pitches, 59 for strikes. In his five starts in a Boston uniform, he is 4-1 with a 3.41 ERA. Not bad for a pitcher who is earning a base salary of $1.25 million, with performance incentives that give the deal a maximum worth of $7 million.

Manny and the 500 Club
Manny Ramirez entered Tuesday tied for 23rd with Eddie Murray on the all-time home run list with 504, seven behind Mel Ott.Before Tuesday's game between the Red Sox and Orioles at Fenway Park, Ramirez informed the Orioles' Hall of Famer it would not be long be long before Murray was in the rearview mirror of the Sox's slugger.
It didn't take long for Ramirez to keep his word, sending a mammoth blast over the Volvo sign, above the Green Monster and on to Lansdowne Street.

Celtics and Red Sox Lose
Well last night was very disappointing, The Celtics lost 87-81, they still have the upper hand, but they need to win the next game in LA to make the series 3-1 Celtics. The Lakers would then still have one more game in LA and then the Celtics will be coming back to Boston for the last two games.
The Red Sox also lost to the Orioles 10-6.

RedSox vs Mariners game 3
So with all these injuries the Sox are in 1st place with a record of 40-26 and ahead of the Rays by 1.5 games. Jacoby will be probably be in the lineup tomorrow against Baltimore. Now nobody will be caught saying JD who?, he has a .318 batting average on the year and just hit a home run yesterday to separate the Red Sox from the Mariners. The Red Sox won 2-1.

Celtics today
Last night the Celtics won 108-102. With 7:39 left in the game the Celtics had a 24 point lead. Unfortunately they gave that lead up when they stopped playing defense. Though they won, they gave the Lakers life at the end of the game which is bad for the Celtics who are playing the next three games, at the Staples Center.

New Rivalry
Right now it is not the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry anymore for this part of the season, but it is Red Sox-Rays. As we saw in the brawl last night for 1st place. The Yankees on the other hand are 6.5 behind the Red Sox putting them in 4th place. They are also only a half game up against last place Baltimore. Though we saw this with the Yankees last year, and they came back in july-August, we know anything can happen.

Back in First
What a crazy game, Jacoby Ellsbury sprains his wrist, Ramirez also gets hurt, and Coco gets in a fight, a full out out brawl, and the Sox win the game to be in first place by 1.5 games, over Tampa Bay. Lester didn't walk a batter and struck out five, but he did hit two Rays in the outing. Still, Lester remained poised throughout the stoppages in play and managed to stifle a difficult Rays lineup by mixing spots inside and outside the plate and regulating his offspeed pitches.

Tampa Bay Series
Thank God the Sox won yesterday, this Rays series is crucial if the Sox want to climb back up to first place, only being down a half game. Josh Beckett is pitching tonight against the Rays, Edwin Jackson. Beckett is 5-4 with an ERA of 4.30. On the other hand Edwin Jackson is 3-4 with and ERA of 3.75. The game tonight is set for a 7:05 start but right now it is absolutely pouring out. So right now it looks like it may be postponed for another day probably in August.

Manny Now has reached 500, 501, and 502. It may be baseball season, but it is Celtic season here in beantown. The Finals start on Thursday, and against the Lakers. The Celtics vs Lakers is the basketball equivalent of the Boston Red-Sox vs Yankees rivalry. It will be an exciting series and I believe the Celts will pull through.

Hello I am this blog's creator and I would like to create a blog for the the Boston Red Sox this year. Anybody who has questions about the B0Sox or wants to start a new post about how the Red Sox are doing and what your average fan wants from them such as who to trade or trade for this year for the trade deadline.
